NSDR
(Non-Sleep Deep Rest)
This is a form of Yoga Nidra practice developed by Dr. Andrew Huberman, a neurobiologist from Stanford University in the USA, who recognized its incredible benefits.
This deeply relaxing meditation practice, utilizing techniques of conscious breathing, sensory awareness, and visualization, slows down brain activity and introduces us to an exceptionally fertile state between wakefulness and sleep, where physical (muscular) and emotional tensions dissolve.
All you need to do is lie down on the mat and listen to my voice as I guide you through simple instructions. Unlike traditional meditation, it does not require focus or concentration, making it incredibly enjoyable, relaxing, and accessible to everyone.
POWER NAP
NSDR, a method particularly useful for those who need quick and effective recovery in a short time.
Are you aware that:
- sleep may not bring the rest and renewal we expect if we haven’t released tension from our body and mind beforehand?
- an hour of NSDR practice can correspond to the restorative effects of 4 hours of sleep?
- just 30 minutes of NSDR practice can replace hours of sleep, release tension from the body and mind, and increase motivation, creativity, and inspiration?
NSDR is like a delightful POWER NAP during the day. It’s a deep relaxation in a nutshell, replacing hours of sleep.
WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU TOOK A MOMENT TO WITHDRAW YOUR SENSES INWARD?
Through the relaxation and meditation techniques used in NSDR, you will free yourself from accumulated stress and tension, both at the level of the body and the mind. Following this, you will experience relaxation and a sense of deep, inner peace.
UNLEASH INFINITE SOURCES OF CREATIVITY, INSPIRATION AND INNOVATION
NSDR significantly supports the extraction of the dormant resources of inspiration, creativity, and innovation that lie within us. The deep states of relaxation achieved during practice help free the mind from daily distractions and routine thought patterns. As a result, NSDR allows for a free flow of thoughts and the spontaneous emergence of creative solutions and innovative concepts.
RESET FOR THE BODY AND MIND
Our bodies and minds possess extraordinary self-regenerative abilities. When we release the external pressures caused by stress, demands, and a flood of thoughts, we experience a reset at a level that traditional sleep cannot provide.
NSDR not only helps reduce fatigue but also motivates us to take action, leaving us ready for upcoming tasks and challenges with renewed energy and mental clarity.
LEARN, DEVELOP, AND CREATE FASTER AND MORE EFFECTIVELY
NSDR supports the process of neuroplasticity, which is the brain’s ability to adapt and form new neural connections, allowing for the optimization of brain functions, supporting its regeneration and flexibility.
During an NSDR session, the mind enters a state that is much more receptive to change and growth, facilitating better absorption of new skills and information. Regular NSDR practice can lead to improvements in memory, concentration, and problem-solving abilities which translate into better handling of daily challenges and increased intellectual efficiency.
FALL ASLEEP FASTER AND WAKE UP REFRESHED
NSDR is a practice that not only deeply relaxes the body and mind but also significantly impacts sleep quality. With regular practice, the body learns to enter a state of deep, restorative sleep more quickly, which translates into improved energy levels and vitality throughout the day. Deeper sleep means more effective regeneration – both physical and mental – allowing us to feel more refreshed, energized, and ready to act in alignment with our dreams and desires. With each practice, this natural ability to regenerate becomes stronger, supporting our capacity to maintain balance and health in every situation.
